About open road Visuals

Open Road Visuals produces high quality photographic images for display, publication, product and service promotion or general story-telling. I adopted that name to convey the unfettered exploration of the visual world and the creative ideal of capturing its intrigue in inspiring images. 

A native and long-time resident of the New York City metropolitan area, I entered an information technology-based business career after college while increasingly honing an interest in photography over time. Always a curious traveler and wanderer, I developed a passion for documenting my experiences, first with film then with digital, the latter from its infancy through its almost mind-boggling current capabilities. My path toward launching Open Road Visuals then continued through an investment in the training, study of technique and mastery of the tools as needed to produce what I hope exemplifies truly compelling imagery. While still active with other business interests, I now make creative image production under the ORV brand my primary pursuit.

The images I’ve put up for display and sale are a mix of photos from my earlier days, captured while refining my craft as a sideline, and my more dedicated and purposeful current and ongoing work. I shoot primarily landscapes and natural subject matter from the metaphorical open road that lend effectively to display. My work is available for purchase as decorative art, publication and/or editorial use and product promotion. I am available for assignment and contracted work – please contact me through this site.
